Swimming in a Fishbowl of Piranhas
Swimming in a fishbowl of piranhas
by Sam Friedman
There is not a lot of poetry
in a job from 9 to 5
and this tiny rhythmic remnant
lives in fear of 8 to 7
for there's precious little living
in a life of overtime
and art's a precious morsel
for a greedy grabbing job.
Sam Friedman
Sam Friedman writes poetry about the current crises of humanity and our culture, and how to survive them. He lives in New Jersey, USA.
